placing products onto the EU market to meet the legal requirements and affix a CE Mark on
products to indicate this compliance. The CE marking indicates appropriate level of safety
and quality for use in European markets.

Taiwan's Commodity Inspection Act was established to enhance the
quality of commodities and protect consumers. The Bureau of Standards, Metrology, and
Inspection (BSMI) conducts an inspection on all products that fall under the Act to the
applicable electrical safety and/or EMC requirements before they are placed on the
Taiwanese market.

The CCC Mark is referred to as China Compulsory Certification and
replaced the CCIB and CCEE Mark on August 1, 2003. The CCC Mark serves as evidence that
products can be marketed, imported or used in China. The certificate holder must abide
by the Regulations for the Compulsory Product Certification Mark.
